Painted Hoodie The Black Pearl a.k.a. Josephine

Atelier Astrid & Antoinette

Her performance in the revue Un vent de folie in 1927, wearing only a short artificial banana skirt and a beaded necklace, made her a celebrity. She had a leopard named Chiquita and a chimpanzee named Ethel and became an iconic symbol of the Roaring Twenties and the Jazz Age.

I remember her as a dancer, actress and singer, a War Heroine, civil rights activist and mother of the Rainbow Tribe.

The illustration is one-of-a-kind and hand-painted with non-toxic paints on a mixture of 85% organic cotton and 15% recycled polyester, all vegan-approved.
This unisex Sweatshirt/Hoodie is thicker and heavier than most other sweatshirts, made in Bangladesh by a Belgium Company that is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation.

One size fits like a 40/Large.
Colour: Obsidian Black

Wash inside out at 30 degrees and never directly on the painting.
